Catholic schools in the Diocese of Dallas are either operated by the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, one of its Catholic parishes, or independently owned by a religious congregation or other recognized religious group with the approval of the Bishop. Each of the 37 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Dallas focus on developing students’ minds, nurturing their hearts, forming their faith and cultivating leadership. Today, in Dallas area Catholic Schools over 15,000 Dallas area children are receiving the best possible education to prepare them for life.

Dallas Catholic schools are fully accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department under the auspices of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools and the Texas Education Agency. In addition, our secondary schools are also accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and/or the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest.
